About children's organization
"OSTROV SOKROVISCH"
The innerschool children organization "Ostrov Sokrovisch" ("The Treasure Island") was founded in October 1996 and was based on Moscow schools 45 and 518, by kids' initiative.
The purpose of this organization is to help children to communicate with each other, to develop their personality in different ways, to teach them to be creative and self-organized.
What kids do there:
- they visit different historical places of Russia
- they go to summer camps
- they visit different cultural places
- they learn to work with little kids
- they set various entertainments for other children
(for example, produce performances, publish school newspapers and so forth).
